In the latest NTU world university ranking in scientific papers, the Department of Electrical Engineering (EE) of Chang Gung University improved to the 8th best EE department in Taiwan from last year's #9. The world-wide ranking of EE in Chang Gung slightly dropped from last year's 214 to #218 this year, outperforming National Taipei University of Technology (#251) and National Chung Hsing University (#283).
