Biography
Chi Lok Wong is an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Chang Gung University. He received his Ph.D. degree in Applied Physics (Photonics) from the City University of Hong Kong in 2007. After that, he took a research position at Chinese University of Hong Kong. In 2008, he joined the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University Singapore as a Research Fellow working in the area of Biophotonics. Between 2012-2021, he was a Research Fellow/ Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Bioengineering and Bioimaging, Agency of Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR Singapore) before joining Chang Gung University as Associate Professor in 2021. His research interest is on Biomedical Optics, Surface Plasmon Resonance Imaging Biosensors, Plasmonic and Metamaterial Biosensors for rapid infectious diseases and cancer diagnosis.
