Based on the 2013 world university ranking made by National Taiwan University (NTU ranking), the Department of Electrical Engineering (EE) of Chang Gung University continues to improve its world ranking within the past three years. In 2013, CGU’s EE is ranked as #214 world-wide, improving from 2012’s #239 and 2011’s #290 within the field of Electrical Engineering. Compared to other EE departments in Taiwan, EE of CGU is ranked as the 9th best EE department and the only department with improved rankings in each of the past three years. As the best EE department of private universities in Taiwan, CGU’s EE Department also surpasses the EE departments of National Chung-Hsin University (#262) and National Chung-Cheng University.
