Undergraduate admission

Undergraduate students are only admitted at the beginning all semester. There is no Spring admission. The undergraduate program currently admits students by the following procedures. Students can: 1. Take the annual university entrance exam in July. This is the way that the majority of our students enter the program. The EE department of Chang-Gung University has been one of the first choices for students from the science and engineering track in Taiwan since 1993. 2. Take the annual academic ability test in February and apply to the department: About 15-20% of the freshmen enter the program via the second route. In addition to the scores which they obtained from the academic ability test, students who make applications are invited to take the 2nd round exams in mathematics and physics held by the department. The final decision will be based on the academic ability test score, the 2nd round exam score, and the student profile submitted for assessment at the time of application. 3. Transfer from the other departments of Chang-Gung University : Students may also enter the department by taking the transfer exam at the end of every July, so are the students who wish to double-major or minor in EE.
